Bartender Feature of February: Jake Dickey

Meet Jake Dickey! Originally from Genoa, OH, Jake's been around a couple of hot spots over the years before ending up at Benchmark in Levis Commons. 
Jake and the other bartenders at Benchmark have been developing a barrel aged cocktail program and just released the Barrel Aged Last Word (seen here). 
The Last Word is traditionally a cocktail with equal parts gin and chartreuse with maraschino liqueur, and some lime juice. The Benchmark variant uses gin, chartreuse, and liqueur that have been aged at least 60 days in Oak barrels for an unique profile. 
 When Jake isn't working, his ideal drink is typically beer and a bit of bourbon (he goes for stouts and Bulleit more often than not). He believes a good test of a bartender's mettle is a solid Old Fashioned; well proportioned, good ingredients that will make a solid drink.
